How does GEOTAB work?
The GEOTAB trip recorder installed in your vehicle captures data from the Global Positioning Satellites (GPS) orbiting the Earth.
Using a unique patent pending GPS discriminating processor, GEOTAB is able to accurately depict the vehicle movements and stops on computerized maps and provide detailed reports in Excel.
The data captured by the trip recorder is transferred to the PC that hosts GEOTAB’s Checkmate software.
The data transfer options include the passive based GO KEY and GO RF solutions as well as the active or real time GO LIVE solution.
